Peep Show

In our spare time, we raised these ducks.  The smaller duck died suddenly after playing with the other.  We had named it Dafney.  It must have suffered SDDS (Sudden Duck Death Syndrome).  The remaining duck Donald was set free in the pond with several other white ducks and Mallards.  We discovered that Donald was really Daisy, when she laid several eggs.  None hatched, unfortunately.

These Mallards eat "Crumbles" daily.  This photo was taken August 7, 1999.

Daisy is gone now.  She and several others were probably eaten by a fox.  There are no white ducks remaining.

July, 2001.  There are no more ducks at the pond.  At least one of the remaining three was hit by a car.  The others have disappeared.   Bummer!

January, 2005.  There are new ducks at the pond.
